Happy Homemaker Monday - The Late Edition - October 14, 2019

Greetings, Dear Readers! ๐Ÿงก

It's 10:00 p.m., Monday is nearly over, and I'm just now sitting down to work on this week's post. It's been a very busy day, to say the least, and there will be no dilly-dallying tonight. Short, sweet, and to the point! Let's get started...shall we?

Won't you join me as I link up with Sandra of Diary of a Stay At Home Mom and all the other lovely ladies that gather there on this week's Happy Homemaker Monday? ๐Ÿ’—

Right now I am...

... just focusing on getting this post out before the clock strikes midnight. ๐Ÿ•›

On the breakfast plate...

... this morning I had French toast with sugar-free syrup and pumpkin spice tea

The weather...

... After some real up and down temperatures this week today was one of those perfect October days. At the moment it's 63 degrees and the full moon is absolutely gorgeous!

The week ahead doesn't look too bad, either.

... On my reading pile...

Other than daily Bible reading I haven't had time to read a single word and, if I have had time, it's been something for work or I simply haven't had the inclination. ๐Ÿ˜ž

The books that I'm in the middle of right now are these...

My Father, Daniel Boone - The Draper Interviews with Nathan Boone edited by Neal O. Hammon and On The Banks of Plum Creek by Laura Ingalls Wilder

On the menu this week...

Monday - Turkey burgers, leftover cheese scalloped potatoes, and peas and carrots
Tuesday - Turkey and noodles
Wednesday - Beef stew and homemade bread
Thursday - Chili dogs, sweet potato fries, and fried apples
Friday - Broiled salmon fillets, acorn squash, and green beans
Saturday - Dh's night to cook
Sunday - Leftovers

On my 'to do' list...

- Monday - Run errands, have tires rotated and balanced on car and get hubcaps replaced (got the rotate and balance, but need another part before they can replace the hubcaps), grocery shop, HHM post, home blessing, laundry, plan the week ahead, celebrate son-in-law's birthday
- Tuesday - Make noodles, bake bread and muffins, make spider web treats for an upcoming program, figure mid-month budget, go to the bank, and celebrate my BFFF's birthday
- Wednesday - Go to the post office, conduct two library programs, and attend a wedding vow renewal ceremony
- Thursday - Select the winner of the 2020 Homemaker's Friend Daily Planner giveaway (get your entry in by clicking HERE), celebrate grandson, T.J.'s birthday
- Friday - Work
- Saturday - Work; join our children and grandchildren for an evening of fun at the pumpkin patch and corn maze
- Sunday - Church, collapse!!!

  5. Spider web pretzel snacks? Is that chocolate drizzled around like the web? Cute idea.

    1. They are cute, Pamela, and the children loved them. I used CANDY MELTS white chocolate (artificial) candy discs. This time I piped it on in a circle and it worked really well. (Last time I slung it around with a fork...which didn't work so well.) I will post a picture tomorrow. Blessings! <3
