Tuesday 4 Meme - All In A Day

Greetings, Dear Friends!

It's time for another Tuesday 4 Meme! Here are Toni's questions for this week and my answers are following...

All In A Day

1. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

It usually only takes me a few minutes (10 to 15) to actually "get ready" but it is my habit to set the alarm at least two hours in advance of whatever time I need to leave by. This way I can enjoy my morning (have tea, read a chapter or two of Bible, look over my calendar and plan for the day, cook and eat breakfast), and start my day feeling relaxed instead of feeling rushed. I don't like doing ANY thing last minute.

2. Do you like to clean house every day or leave it for another day?

Ideally, I like to do a general straightening before bed each day, but it doesn't always happen. Monday is my big cleaning day. That's when I do my weekly "home blessing"...which sounds like a lot, but our house is small and none of the jobs take long...especially if I have kept up with the general straightenings throughout the week. If I haven't, it usually takes a lot longer and, if I have added any extra or deep-cleaning jobs it can take the better part of the day, so it varies.

3. What is your least favorite thing to do that you have to do every day?

Go to sleep.

4. After all is said and done what is your favorite way to relax?

Get out in nature and observe the intricacies of God's creation.

Until next time...
~Rebecca

    1. If you can't get outside into nature like you'd like to, Toni, focus on what nature there is close at hand. Nature is everywhere! Observe birds, squirrels, and other animals outside your windows, a pretty leaf or flower growing outside your front door, or even some creepy crawly spider, cricket, or fly that has found it's way inside. Study it...sketch it...start a nature journal. Even the tiniest creatures and other intricacies of nature (leaves, wildflowers, seed pods, etc.) can be most fascinating and note worth...and, small as they are, even they point us to our wonderful and magnificent Creator. Blessings, Sweet Lady! <3

  2. I know I said I need an hour but I could get ready sooner. It's the days when I leave the house and have to put on make-up and work on my hair that I dislike the most. I actually love bedtime. The beach is always a great way to relax but that doesn't happen very often.

    1. I hear you, Debby! I love bedtime, too...I just hate to waste time sleeping! LOL! I have GOT to figure out a way to eliminate some of the stress-producing things in my life and simplify. It's really starting to get to me. Hope your week is going well and thanks for dropping in! <3
