Recipe: Buttermilk Pancakes

Buttermilk Pancakes
I usually don't buy buttermilk, but did this week to use in another recipe. I wasn't sure what to do with the leftover buttermilk so I used it to make these extra fluffy and super delicous buttermilk pancakes. Thought I'd share the recipe here with you! 🥞

BUTTERMILK PANCAKES

2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups buttermilk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

Whisk all ingredients together and pour by scant 1/4 cupfuls on hot griddle that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Cook pancakes on one side until golden brown, then turn and cook on the other side until golden brown and done in the middle. Makes 24 pancakes.

Until next time...

  1. I love buttermilk corn bread. I've been making my own buttermilk lately, and adding a touch of sour cream to keep it moist. Thanks for the recipes
