Master List and Menu Plan Monday - January 25, 2021

Greetings, Dear One! Happy Monday! 💗

How was your week and weekend?

Ours here was blah! I wasn't feeling a week ago Saturday, but made it through the weekend and the work day on Monday. Tuesday John and I ran to town, finished up our shopping, and picked up a few things for a family member. We've accomplished very little ever since.

I didn't get a chance to take many photos this past week, but will share a few that I took on our way home from town on Tuesday. Like this one...

Old Farm House Out In The Country

They're not much to look at now, but, at one time, this old house was someone's brand new home.

Was it a house that some proud, young farmer built for his beautiful new bride? Or perhaps it was an older man fulfilling a long-ago promise to a wife that had patiently made do all those many years while he was busy running the farm and making a living. Perhaps it was built for comfort in their old age.

Whatever the case, these old structures have a story and oh! How I wish they could talk!

Okay...enough rambling! Time is slipping away and I need to get on with this week's post!

A Windmill

A Dog in a Farm Field

Well, that's all for now! Have a great day and a wonderful week ahead! Blessings over all!

Until next time...

  1. I love seeing old houses, barns and farms. I just hate seeing them run down and no one to take care of them. Breaks my heart. I too have the same thoughts of who built it.
