Christmas Tree #2 - Pink Victorian

The final component that I was awaiting before being able to put the pink Victorian Christmas tree together finally arrived yesterday and I was able to get the tree set up last night.

The tree itself is white and features pink lights, 24 pink textured ornaments, four white ceramic angel ornaments, two strands of pink beads, and two lovely strands of vintage, Victorian-girl garlands. A glistening, fiber-optic angel sits atop looking over all.

I wanted the tree in a front window so that passers-by could view it encircled by the lights on the front porch. The window in my office (a.k.a. the Van Gogh room) was the only possibility.

Unfortunately, the sunflower yellow of the room's walls reflects greatly on the ornaments and makes some of them appear golden rather than pink.

Who knows? If time permits I may end up moving the pink Victorian tree to the living room in front of the big window on the south side. It would definitely be a better fit with the white walls and white lace curtains.

For now, it's where it's at, though, and with the season rolling along as fast as it is I may just leave it where it is for this year and do something different next year. We'll see.

Either way, I promised pics.

Now I'm going to put some Christmas music on and get busy with holiday baking and preparations for Saturday.

Have a blessed Wednesday everyone and a great rest of the week! Blessings!

Until next time...
