Prayer and Praise

Greetings, Dear Ones!

It's amazing how quickly things can change. Wednesday afternoon I posted about my husband and I being under the weather, making a chocolate cake, and starting a new puzzle; a few hours later my husband was laying on the kitchen floor with his eyes wide open, but unresponsive. I thought he had had a stroke. I called 9-1-1 and, long story short, my husband in in the hospital with COVID-19. I can't be with him, BUT...he is doing very well at this point and, word has it, that he may get to come home soon! 💓

I am so thankful for the Lord's love, care, and protection! I am also thankful for all the folks that He has put in our path and into our lives, and for those that have been lifting us up in their thoughts and prayers. It means so much!

A word of advice...

Stay close to those you love and don't ever take a moment with them for granted. Things can change so quickly and, sometimes, the story doesn't end as well as ours has this time.

Love and blessings to all and until next time...
~Rebecca

  1. Oh my dear Rebecca! Thank you for sharing this with us, and please know we will be praying for you and for your dear husband. Praying he will indeed get completely well and be able to come home soon. That must have been very scary. Praise God you have that faith in Christ to carry you through such trauma and uncertainty. May the Lord continue to give you both strength and restored health.

    1. As you can see, I am running way behind on answering comments, Pamela, but I do appreciate your taking the time to comment and your prayers on our behalf are much appreciated. Thank you! We are both doing much better and are gaining strength. We do have a couple of health issues that we need to deal with, but, yes! RESTORED HEALTH! That is what we are believing for! Please keep those prayers for health, healing, strength, and restoration coming! We so value them right now! God bless you, Pamela, and thank you! <3

    1. Thanks, Tracy! Yes, this COVID definitely effects everyone differently. We have had friends that tested positive that didn't even know that they had it and others that have died because of it. It's a tough time for our nation (and the world) right now. Your prayers are very much valued and appreciated! <3

    1. As you can see, I'm running a bit behind, D! Your thoughts and well wishes are much appreciated. You've probably read the updates, but John is home and is gaining ground every day. Now if we could just get past the cold weather and get on with spring I think we'd both feel better! God bless you and thanks! <3
