Photos From Weekend Winter Storm

We had our first good snow of the winter over the weekend. I haven't braved getting out and about yet, but here are few pics taken around the place Sunday morning...

Who else got snow over the weekend and how much? We got around 7" or so here.

Until next time...

  1. Our area got about 9-10 inches in most areas. Now we are dealing with below zero temps (again) and a lot of wind.

    1. Good to hear from you, Kristina! Our actual temps were in single digits with windchills well below zero (-20 to -25) and windy. Barely above freezing today and supposed to be about the same tomorrow. A little warmer, I think, by the weekend. Am sure looking forward to spring. I bet you're planning your garden right about now! Blessings, my friend!

  2. No snow here in Florida, thankfully! But we will be getting some very cold temperatures for us this week and especially on the weekend. We had a 10 minute power outage early this morning to wake us up to the reality that we could get very cold very quickly without power and no kind of heat back up. So we are rethinking our preparations and making sure we really ARE ready! Glad you are okay. Your pictures are absolutely beautiful!! Cold, but beautiful! LOL. Take care and stay warm and cozy!!

    1. Great to hear from you, Pam! Yes, it's always better to be prepared and not need it than to be caught mid-storm without. Glad you got a heads up and are wise enough to follow through. Take care and stay warm over the weekend! Blessings!
