New Tea Pot

25th Anniversary Tea Pot

Our oldest daughter found this pretty little teapot (actually I think it's a coffee pot, but since we don't drink coffee, it will HAVE to serve as a teapot!) at a thrift store yesterday and brought it to us in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary (which was last month...on Valentine's Day...which we have yet to find the time and means to celebrate...????) LOL! Pretty, though, isn't it?

Baby Quilt

A dear friend of ours and her daughter-in-law have always been so good about picking up little things here and there for our grandlittles on occasion and it's always so appreciated. Recently, when they were out and about they picked up this lovely little denim bear baby blanket. The only thing wrong with it is that it didn't have an edging. I edged it this afternoon and am going to give it to baby Jedidiah. Thought I'd share!

 

Sweet Grandlittle Mugs

My husband and I received these wonderfully cute 'Grandlittle' mugs in today's mail! The were sent to us by our youngest daughter and her husband. What a sweet and thoughtful gift! We love 'em!

 

Bleeding Hearts - 4/14/11

These are my youngest daughter, Amanda's, favorite flowers. These are the ones that we planted here for her, and the ones that she planted at her grandma and grandpa's are twice this size now and covered in blooms. They're so pretty!

Little Purple Crocuses

 Our front lawn is a buzz with honey bees pollinating these lovely little crocuses that grow along our south lawn. Thought I'd share some of their loveliness with all of you on this beautiful, sunshiny day!

Cherry Jelly

I finally got the cherry jelly made up this afternoon. We picked the cherries off my dad's tree a couple of weeks ago, but, with a death in the family, I had to end up putting the juice aside until I could do something with it. Am so glad to have it done!

Lilac Reflections

My husband brought me several baskets of purple lilacs this afternoon to decorate with. I've got them in every room of the house and they smell so good!
