Master List and Menu Plan Monday - March 8, 2021

It's Monday morning and I hope that you and yours are doing well. How was your week and weekend?

Here things are moving along. Overall, John is doing well and I'm back to my regular work schedule. It feels good to, once again, be traipsing around, out and about, on the tallgrass prairie, and it's exciting to witness the sure coming of spring in nature...the earliest of early spring flowers are blooming (crocus, henbit, and bluets), spring peepers are peeping, and Orion is dipping closer and closer to the western horizon in the nighttime sky. Spring is nearly upon us!

Daylight savings time begins this weekend (Sunday, March 14 @ 2:00 a.m.), so don't forget to set your clocks ahead by one hour Saturday night! That seems awful early, doesn't it?

Please be in prayer for our oldest daughter, her two brothers on her dad's side, and the rest of the family as well after his unexpected death last Thursday. It's a tough situation for everyone and your prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Okay...I've got to leave for work shortly, so on with this weeks post!

This week's master to-do list...

- work
- clean house
- do laundry
- wash bedding
- plan and shop for St. Patty's Day
- clean and organize the Van Gogh room
- bake bread
- make muffins
- work outside
- set clocks ahead

This week's menu plan...

Monday - Chili and cornbread
Tuesday - Chicken taco salad with beans and guacamole
Wednesday - Meatloaf with boiled, buttered potatoes, and peas
Thursday - Turkey burgers and oven fries
Friday - Broiled salmon, baked potatoes (regular or sweet), and frozen vegetables (whatever we've got in the freezer)
Saturday - Dh's night to cook (chef's choice or leftovers)

Well, that's it for today, Ladies! Have a blessed day and a lovely week ahead!

Until next time...
~Rebecca
