Master To-Do List and Menu Plan Monday - March 13, 2023

Rainy, cool, and cloudy...that's how the last few days have been and, according to this week's forecast, there's more to come. I sure enjoyed those nice, warm, sunny days while we had them and can't wait for them to return.

This past week fairly flew by! I ended up not getting my car back from the vo-tech until Thursday afternoon. They replaced the water pump, a cv axle, and a ball joint, plus did an oil change, and an alignment. It takes a little longer doing it this way, but the cost more than makes up for the time involved (a minimal labor charge...this time only $65.00...plus the cost of parts) and they do a good job. I will be taking it back after spring break to get an air conditioner issue fixed before summer. They would have completed the work this trip, but, with spring break coming up, no one would be there to do it for a week or so, and I needed my car back. After picking the car up at the school, I took it to Walmart for a rotate and balance.

My photo, but, yes, I played with the saturation a bit. Looks
like an original Russell painting...doesn't it?

I worked Friday and Saturday. Friday was weird! As soon as I got the register set up the internet went down and it stayed down all day. That meant no time-reporting, no e-mail, and no sales, so I worked on the spring bulliten board, cleaned, and read a lot. In the afternoon we lost electricity which put us out of business entirely. Thankfully, by Saturday all was restored and everything was back to normal...well...sort of.

Flat Anna from Manitoba came to visit our park this weekend and I was instructed to take her around and show her a good time. Flat Anna and I had a blast! We toured the nature center and she even got to see the bison!

Company stayed for lunch after church on Sunday. After that I layed down to take a short nap and ended up falling asleep for nearly three hours. I guess I needed it.

Now, here we are, Monday morning and ready for a brand new week! Let's get started, shall we?

This week's master to-do list...

- Clean house
- Do laundry
- Bake a sweet potato pie
- Pet-sit for a friend
- Figure mid-month budget

Well, that's it for today! You have a lovely day and a great week ahead and I'll be with you again soon!

Until next time...
~Rebecca

    1. Thanks, Jean! I'm glad that you were able to get in. The weird page that came up before connecting is a safeguard that my son put in there in an attempt to stop the cyber attackers. I've been under attack since Sunday eveing, but wasn't aware of it until after posting this morning. Yes, showing Flat Anna around the park was fun! Have a great rest of the week, my friend!

  2. When Heather was in 2nd grade her class did Flat Stanley, she mailed him to Colorado to Aunt Kelli and Uncle Ed, from there he took a trip to Texas with them because Uncle Ed had classes to do for the railroad. Kelli made a scrapbook of their adventure!
Glad your blog is up and running again! Love ya, Angie

    1. I hear you, TD! I used to do the same thing. I'd have piles of notes, sticky notes, stuff scribbled in notebooks, etc. everywhere (and still do on a very small scale at times...just until I can get the thoughts organized and worked into my planner), but have found that this weekly post sure aids in keeping me on track...kind of an accountability tool, I guess. Anyway, I wish you well in strategizing and organizing your own stuff into a workable system and thank you for stopping by from the #UnlimitedLinkParty! Have a great rest of the week!
